Home Health Care/Medical Equipment
Often, leaving home to receive medical treatment is not an option. Floyd Memorial’s Home Health Care Services provide the quality medical care you expect from Floyd Memorial in the comfort of your own home, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Skilled nurses are trained to provide services addressing a broad range of medical needs, including but not limited to IV therapy, wound care, cardiac care, diabetes care, pulmonary care, post-operative care and pharmaceutical infusion therapies. We consider rehabilitation an essential part of healing. Our rehabilitation staff can provide therapies to address physical, occupational, and speech and language pathology needs to patients in the Southern Indiana region. Furthermore, medical therapy often extends beyond just medical treatments. Social Services provide advocacy for patients and their family members, helping everyone involved to understand the medical condition and treatments available. Our advocates strive to maximize use of the resources available within the community. The Home Health Aide Service provides assistance with daily living and personal care, often extending to light meal preparation and housekeeping services. For more information, please contact Floyd Memorial Home Health Care at 812-948-7447.
Oxygen and Medical Equipment Services can also be arranged to assist nursing staff in providing oxygen therapy, breathing treatments with nebulizers, overnight oximetry testing, continuous positive airway pressure (CPAP) and bi-level positive airway pressure (Bi-PAP) treatments, as well as wheelchairs, semi-electric beds, and a wide variety of ambulatory aides.
