Wound Healing Center
Several chronic diseases result in wounds that refuse to heal. These wounds can be difficult to treat and often result in the amputation of a limb. Floyd Memorial’s Wound Healing Center is dedicated to the treatment of wounds and the prevention of surgical amputations. A dedicated, multidisciplinary team of physicians and board certified wound ostomy nurses specialize in the treatment and care of chronic and acute wounds with an emphasis on lower extremities. Our Medical Director is physical medicine and rehabilitation specialist Rodney Chou, MD. Podiatrists Syed Ahmed, MD and William Beasley, MD, along with their trained staff, provide the highest level of wound prevention and care.

This month's HealthScope introduces you to our family of Primary Care Physicians & lists the importance of having one of your own.
